From Music Education to the Hard Rock Stage: An Unforgettable Concert by Sound Lab Students and Tutors

On June 8th, an event took place on the stage of Hard Rock Cafe Yerevan that became the perfect answer to this question. The students and tutors of Sound Lab music school, along with the incredibly talented Sound LAB Orchestra, united to deliver an unforgettable evening of music and to showcase how quality music education transforms into stage presence and brilliance.
When Generations Meet on One Stage
The atmosphere at Hard Rock Cafe was buzzing with unprecedented energy. On one hand, we had our experienced tutors, whose professionalism was a masterclass in itself. On the other, our enthusiastic students, for whom this was a major step onto the big stage. All of this was elevated by the powerful and harmonious sound of the Sound LAB Orchestra, which brought a new level of depth and scale to the performances.
This wasn’t just a concert; it was a celebration of our school’s community and creative unity.
From Global Hits to Armenian Melodies
The concert’s setlist was as diverse as our students.
The evening opened with a moving instrumental piece by the orchestra, followed by world-renowned hits ranging from Adele’s “Skyfall” to the rock anthem “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes. The audience was also captivated by fresh interpretations of Armenian songs, such as the heartfelt “Hayi Achker” (An Armenian’s Eyes) and the beloved “Ases Norits” (As If Again).
A special mention goes to our students’ instrumental performances of “Isn’t She Lovely” and “Just the Two of Us,” which proved that Sound Lab excels not only in vocal training but also in instrumental mastery. The evening concluded on a high note with a powerful performance of “Stand Up” by Gohar and Lyuli, leaving everyone energized and inspired.
